Department of pathobiology

History

The Pathobiology Department offers graduate work leading to the Doctor of Philosophy and Master’s Degree in Pathobiology. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for a professional career in the area of pathological science with an emphasis on basic principles of injury, particularly at cellular and subcellular levels and the pathogenesis of several disease processes, namely, parasitic (malaria) agents, toxic agents and carcinogens.
